    Hi,

Sorry for the late reply, we had some holidays.

How to Password Protect a Page in WordPress

    1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.

    2. From the left menu, go to Pages → All Pages.

    3. Find the page you want to protect and click Edit.

    4. On the right side, in the Page settings panel, look for the section called Visibility (under the Publish or Status & Visibility settings).

    5. By default, it’s set to Public. Click on it and select Password Protected.

    6. Enter a password of your choice in the field that appears.

    7. Click Update (or Publish, if it’s a new page).

Now, when visitors open the page, they’ll be asked to enter the password before they can see the content.

Feel free to ask for anything you need.

    Kind Regards

Thank you for getting back to me!

I'm looking to protect a portfolio item, not a page, and I wanted to know if you have something theme-specific, not a WordPress default option.

I have tested your recommendation, and it doesn't seem to work on the portfolio item. The page version is pretty basic. Do you happen to offer one that matches the theme
