I've been running the Dendrite theme on my website since 2018, I moved my website to a new web host this week and tried to reinstall my backups for the website (something I have done before) but keep getting errors. we installed a clean wordpress, and are now trying to install a clean Dendrite the before installing all the other backups. I bought the newest version of Dendrite and made sure the wordpress version is compatible with the Dendrite version (wordpress 6.6) and followed the instruction on the Dendrite documentation for the installation. the upload and installation goes weel till I press the activate button after that I get a fatal error. Is it possible the php of the web host isn't compatible? php8.1 Installing the Dendrite theme should be the easy part of the whole website migration..
Could you please check the administrator email of your WordPress site? When a fatal error occurs, WordPress usually sends an email there with the error details.
Please forward me that email (or a screenshot of the error) so I can review the exact cause and fix it.
in the mean time we have been trying several different options, trying to use updraft plus to restore the old backup files, trying to install the fresh new download of Dendrite that I just bought, but nothing seems to work.
