I Installed the theme but can't get it to work

I installed this new theme but i think because i was already using a previous neuron theme (otello) that it's not updating and i still see the old theme. I just want to use the new theme, no traces of the old theme, but with all of my posts and pages still in tact

Good morning. I just wanted to follow up here. I cannot figure this out at all.

The neuron builder has been installed multiple times, but the old content was still on the website. I ended up clearing the old website, exporting my old blog posts, pages, and media, and then uploading the new theme which worked. However - I am now having issues reuploading the posts and media as the featured images of the posts are not linked. I can also reverse this process and go back to the old theme, but again, the new theme didn't show up after uploading.

I just reversed everything, reuploaded the new version of neuron, deleted the old theme, uploaded the new theme, but the old theme is still visible and i dont have the option to import the demo content
