I need some assistance with the WooCommerce login setup. The system requires a "Lost Password" page to complete the signup process. The Otello theme includes a "My Account" page that allows users to change and confirm their password, but I haven't been able to locate the specific confirm password form within the theme.
Could you please help me link WooCommerce’s lost-password flow to a page that includes an "Enter & Confirm Password" form?
I am very sorry for the late reply, we were not working on the weekend.
Here’s how you can set up the WooCommerce lost password flow to ensure users can enter and confirm their new password properly:
Default WooCommerce Lost Password Page WooCommerce provides a built-in password reset page at:
yoursite.com/my-account/lost-password/
This page allows users to request a password reset via email.
Verify WooCommerce Settings Please go to WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts & Privacy and ensure that the "Allow customers to reset their passwords" option is enabled.
Custom Lost Password Page (If Needed) If you prefer a custom page with an "Enter & Confirm Password" form, you can create a new page and add this shortcode:
[woocommerce_reset_password]
Then, we can redirect WooCommerce’s lost password link to this page for a seamless experience.
Redirect Users After Reset (Optional) If you’d like users to be redirected to a specific page after resetting their password, we can add a custom function to handle that. Let us know if you’d like this setup.
Thank you for your response. I appreciate your help, but I still need assistance in setting up the lost password process properly.
Currently, when users request a password reset, the email they receive includes a link that leads to a 404 error instead of a proper "Enter & Confirm Password" page, and the same happens when y click on "Forgot Password". I need the /my-account/lost-password/ page to take users directly to the correct WooCommerce password reset form, where they can set and confirm their new password. I understand that this can be settled in the WooCommers settings, but the wirgets do not provide this form, even though its in the My Account site. Since I cannot modify the My Account page with Elementor, I need your team to ensure this is set up correctly.
Additionally, the built-in comment section uses the default WordPress login instead of the WooCommerce login. This creates inconsistency in the user experience. I would like the comment section’s login prompt to direct users to the WooCommerce login instead, which is url.com/my-account/
Additionally, I am unable to disable the subscribe pop-up. Please assist in resolving this issue.
Could you please take care of these issues or provide a direct solution? Let me know how we can fix this.
I appreciate that the password reset issue was resolved, but I’m disappointed that I still haven’t received any support for the other issues I reported over three weeks ago. I need these to be addressed as soon as possible.
Comment Section Login Redirect – The comment section login still directs users to the default WordPress login instead of the WooCommerce login. Please update it so that clicking the login button in the comment widget redirects users to url.com/my-account instead.
Subscription Pop-Up Removal – I am still unable to disable the subscription pop-up. Please assist in removing it completely.
I understand support teams can be busy, but waiting this long for a resolution is frustrating. I’d appreciate a prompt response with a timeline for when these issues will be fixed.
