CSS and Layout Issues with Neuron Theme

Description: I am experiencing several issues with my website using the Neuron Theme on WordPress:

    Home Page Issues:
    • The "Carousel home" renders vertically (one on top of the other) instead of functioning as a carousel.
    • The logo is positioned on the left, which is a nice touch, but I cannot add a menu to that sidebar.
    About Us Page Issue:
    • A large blank space appears before the footer, causing unnecessary scrolling.
    Single Post Page (Blog) Issues:
    • Social Media Icons: Within Elementor editor, the icons to share my blog display correctly, but on the published site, all the circular icons appear with empty squares inside.
    • Older Posts Layout: When scrolling down, the older posts section is supposed to display three posts per row. However, they are appearing one post per row, which disrupts the layout significantly.
    Comment Section Problems:
    • I recently added a comment section but cannot modify its CSS or text content.
    • The comment section includes unwanted buttons like "Modify your profile," which I would like to remove.
    • Additionally, some buttons are in English while others are in Spanish. I need consistent language formatting and guidance on how to customize the text inside the comment box.
    Footer Icon Issue:
    • The footer icon is not displaying with the correct size and appearance.
    LogIn Page Issue:
    • The LogIn page works fine, but I need to add a "Register" button, and I cannot edit that Neuron Widget.
    My Account Page Issue:
    • I am unable to modify the "My Account" page using Elementor. When I click "Edit with Elementor," nothing happens. I can only edit the page with the basic WordPress editor. How can I enable Elementor for this page?

    Request: Could you assist with:

    1. Fixing the CSS for the social media icons on the single post page.
    2. Correcting the layout of the older posts section to display three posts per row as intended.
    3. Addressing the "Carousel home" and ensuring it functions correctly as a carousel.
    4. Providing a solution for adding a menu to the sidebar where the logo is located.
    5. Eliminating the large blank space on the "About Us" page before the footer.
    6. Providing guidance or implementing fixes for customizing the comment section's text, buttons, and appearance.
    7. Resolving the issue with the footer icon to restore its proper size and appearance.
    8. Enabling the addition of a "Register" button on the LogIn page Neuron Widget.
    9. Allowing Elementor to edit the "My Account" page or providing guidance on how to do so.

Thank you for your assistance. Please let me know if you need further details or access to the site.

    Hi,

    1) I've just fixed it by installing the Font Awesome plugin.

    2) Can you please attach a screenshot of the issue?

3/5) I've attached the latest version of the Neuron Builder plugin, install it by going to Dashboard > Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin.

    https://neuronthemes.com/api/plugins/neuron-builder.zip

    4) The menu icon was missing, so I've just added it so now you have the Overlay Menu when you click on the icon.

    6) Unfortunately, the comment section appearance can only be edited by adding custom CSS code, so please let us know what you want to change so we can help you.

    7) I've fixed it.

    8) You can allow users to register to your site by going to Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts and Privacy > Account Creation.

    8) Unfortunately, the account page appearance can only be edited by adding custom CSS code, so please let us know what you want to change so we can help you.

    Kind Regards

    Hi Customer Service/Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I have a few questions regarding customizing my website:

    1. Is it possible to add menu buttons to the"entrevistas" side bar to match the menu structure of the other headers?
    2. I noticed that the buttons in the "My Account" section are currently non-functional (e.g., "Log Out" and others). Could you clarify if these can only be configured using CSS, or is there another method to make them operational?
    3. For the "My Account" section:
      • I’d like to remove the "Pedidos recientes" and "Direcciones de envío y facturación" options.
      • I’d prefer to keep only "Editar tu contraseña y los detalles de tu cuenta."
    4. "My account" when logged out used to be a log In form. Please make it be it again. Is there a Sing Up form here? Can I implement it to Ultimate Members? Or is it unnecessary? I just want comments
    5. Additionally, I’d like to add:A "My Comments" section.
      •  form for editing user data.
      • A "Saved Posts" feature.
    1. How can I create users within this theme? Are there specific settings or plugins that you recommend for managing user registration and profiles?
    2. The Main Photo in the landing page is broken on the mobile version.
    3. The comments in the Single Post are broken when changing to mobile.

The blog emphasizes user engagement through comments, so these features would greatly enhance its usability. Could you guide me on how to implement these changes or let me know if there are plugins/tools you recommend?

    Thank you for your help!

    Hi Vermouth,

    1) You can edit the Sidebar Header on the Carousel Home by going to the Carousel Home > hover into the Edit with Elementor button and then open the Header (Side) popup template, and there you can add the menu items.

    2) I've just tested all the buttons on the Checkout page and they're working as expected, if I click on the logout button, it logs me out of the site and redirects me to the homepage.

    3) I've just removed the parts that you asked in the My Account page.

    4)

The "My Account" page can be restored to display the login form for logged-out users. I'll ensure it's working as expected.

If you want a Sign-Up form, WooCommerce can handle this natively by enabling account registration in WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts & Privacy. This will add a registration option to the same page.

Integrating Ultimate Member is possible but might not be necessary unless you need advanced features like custom fields or role-based access. Let me know if you'd prefer to use it.

For comments, as long as users are logged in, WordPress handles this without extra plugins.

    5) Adding a "My Comments" section to the My Account page isn’t a default feature, but you can implement it by customizing the My Account page template and fetching user comments using WordPress functions.

    6) I suggest you use the One User Avatar plugin to manage users and the images of the users.

    7) I've just improved the layout of the homepage on mobile, can you check it?

    8) I've just improved the comments section, can you check it?

Please make sure to clear the site's cache before checking the fixes.

Feel free to ask for anything you need.

    Kind Regards

    Hi Neuron Team!

Thank you very much for your assistance and for addressing my requests so quickly!

Regarding item 4, I noticed that the new login/registration form looks fantastic. However, I realized that the registration is being handled by Otello instead of WordPress. Could you clarify how this process works? I attempted to create an account, but I couldn't add a password through the link sent to my email.

Additionally, I need to make the font size of the posts larger on both desktop and mobile. Could you please guide me on how to adjust this?

Aside from these two points, everything else is absolutely perfect—thank you so much for your help!

    Looking forward to your guidance.

    Kind regards, Vermouth

    Hi,

I am very sorry for the late reply, we were not working on the weekend.

    4) The login page is managed by WooCommerce, and I've just fixed the issue by going to Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Page Settup and setting the lost-password endpoint to the password reset page.

    5) Can you please attach the URL and a screenshot of what do you want to change so I can help you?

Feel free to ask for anything you need.

    Kind Regards

    Hi Neuron Team,

Thank you so much for your reply and for clarifying the weekend delay—it’s no problem at all!

Regarding item 4, I appreciate the fix you implemented for the lost-password endpoint. However, I still don’t fully understand how this process works. Specifically:

    • I couldn’t find a built-in feature within the Otello demo for confirming the password after registration, even though I did see the Log In and Register pages.
    • The part I find confusing is that when I try to log in through the Neuron comment section, it redirects me to the WordPress login. But when accessing My Account, it behaves differently. Could you clarify where the theme’s functionality ends and WooCommerce’s functionality begins?

    Additionally:

    • Is there a way to change the "Perfil" menu item to say "Iniciar sesión" when the user is logged out?

Lastly, I would like to adjust the font size for all post content. Is there a way to apply this change universally, or does it require editing the SinglePost CSS through Elementor?

Thank you again for your assistance and for your continued support. I look forward to hearing from you!

    Kind regards, Vermouth

    1) Please check WooCommerce's documentation about the My Account page, you can check how the page and the login forms work.

    2) To change the font in general, please go to Elementor's Site Settings > Custom Fonts > Text.

Feel free to ask for anything you need.

    Dear Neuron Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I need assistance with a few modifications on my WordPress site using the Neural Otello theme:

    1. Remove sections from the account page:
      • In the text displayed to users, I would like to remove the references to "pedidos recientes" and "direcciones de envío y facturación."

    2. Remove "Downloads" from the side menu: Please remove the "Downloads" option from the account page side menu.
    3. Configure the lost-password page:
      • The WooCommerce login method currently sends a link to set up the password.
      • I need the lost-password page to be connected to the "confirm password" template that already exists in the Otello theme (similar to the "modify my account details" form).
      • Note: Users who haven’t set up their password can’t log in, so the "confirm password" form must be accessible through the lost-password page.
    4. Login consistency for the comments widget:
      • When users click "Log in" from the comments widget, it currently redirects to the default WordPress login page.
      • Please update this behavior so that it redirects to the WooCommerce login form, maintaining consistency across the site.

I would greatly appreciate your help in implementing these changes. Let me know if you need further clarification or access details to proceed.
