here comes the new question. the 413 error no longer exist. i assume the above approach have fixed the problem.
when i try to install the file, the below error have shown
Well, this supporting speed is too slow. i have already solved the problem by myself.
Just for keep record or for someone who may want to find out the solution.
All you need to do is to unzip the zip folder and move all the files with the unzipped folder itself to
/var/www/wordpress/wp-content/themes/
the above path. then you can find the theme inside your site. you can do this by sftp scp file transfer whatever the method you want. all you need is to place the correct folder to the correct path. lastly, express my sadness again to this slow slow support. thanks. you may close the ticket
I'm very sorry that our support fell short of your expectations, besides that, I'm really glad to know that you've managed to find a solution.
You should've uploaded only the bifrost.zip into WordPress, not the whole archive, but as you've already fixed it, there's no need to do anything else, hope you enjoy working with our theme.
You can take a look at the documentation of the theme where you can find anything you'll need to know on working with our Bifrost theme.
Now, we try to solve the problem. How to increase the maximum file upload size? The link above have suggested that we have to update the php.ini file. First we need to find out where is the php.ini file. I am using AWS EC2 as the server. I have the direct access to the server through ssh via terminal. According to this link https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6165558/how-can-i-find-my-php-ini-on-wordpress. Please read the answer with 14 likes.
You can use the command "php -i | grep ini" to get the path where your php file locates. After you identified the location for the php.ini, you can edit it and reload the service by the command stated above. PLEASE NOTED THAT THE SETTING MIGHT BE ALREADY SET INSIDE THE ORIGINAL PHP.INI FILE. YOU WILL NEED TO EITHER CHANGE IT OR REPLACE THE VALUE OF THE SETTING.
Lastly... gosh, i have paid 500 for this template, the support is like slow af
I am very sorry for the late reply, we were not working on the weekend.

Just to keep the record as i have found the correct way to install the theme through the website. According to https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-increase-the-maximum-file-upload-size-in-wordpress/ and many other site we can find out that the problem lead to "The link is expired" is due to the maximum file size. For the Maximum file size, we can find it here
