    Hi Denise,

I'm sorry to hear about the recent hacking issues on your website. It's crucial to address this matter promptly to ensure the safety and integrity of your online presence. Here are some recommended steps to help resolve the situation:

    1. Inform the Hosting Provider: Please contact your hosting provider immediately to report the hacking incident. They may have specific security measures in place to assist you.
    2. Change Passwords: Ensure to change all associated passwords, including the hosting account, content management system (CMS) login, and any other relevant accounts. Use strong, unique passwords to enhance security.
    3. Recovering Access to Authenticator App: Since you no longer have access to the authenticator app, I recommend reaching out to the service provider for guidance on alternative authentication methods or recovery options. They might be able to assist you in regaining access.
    4. Security Scans and Cleanup: Conduct a thorough security scan of your website to identify any malware or vulnerabilities. Utilize reliable security plugins or services to remove any malicious code or scripts.
    5. Software and Plugin Updates: Ensure that all software, plugins, and themes are up to date to prevent potential security vulnerabilities.
    6. Implement Website Security Measures: Install security plugins, firewalls, and other security measures to bolster your website's defense against future hacking attempts. Regular monitoring is essential.
    7. Request Google Reconsideration: If your website has been flagged as dangerous on Google, address the security issues first and then submit a reconsideration request through Google Search Console, demonstrating that the issues have been resolved.
    8. Backup and Recovery Plan: Set up regular backups of your website to facilitate a quick recovery in case of any future security breaches.

If you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out. Alternatively, you might consider consulting a professional web developer or cybersecurity expert for specialized guidance.

Feel free to ask for anything you need.

    Kind Regards
