I made the changes, but it's not turning out the way I'd like.
I have attatched a screenshot of how I want it to look. Previously, I have accomplished this by changing the settings in the individual blog post, but I'd like this to happen by default.
I've just added the image to the hero section by going to Appearance > Customize > Utility > Hero and changing the settings as in the attached screenshot.

I am very sorry for the late reply, we were not working on the weekend.
To hide the title, you have to go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Utility > Breadcrumb > Post and set it to "Hide".

And to display the featured image on the post, you need to go to Dashboard > Appearance > Blog > Post > Thumbnail.

And I removed the featured image that was in the post content by going to Appearance > Customize > Blog > Post > Thumbnail and setting ti to "Hide".
