Hi there, when I try to install the theme, it fails every time upon activation. It never went to the step-by-step installation as seen in the video. I manually deleted it, installed again, installed the required plugins, which at least let me activate it but still saw errors in random places. When trying to complete the setup process, at the license step, lots of error text on the screen yet again. I even did a clean WP install to see if there was anything else interfering. I feel like this should be really straightforward so I'd appreciate any assistance. Thank you.
I tried again by preinstalling the two plugins in the wordpress zip file, and got to the point of entering the license key, pushed the verify button, nothing happened. Pushed it again, and now it got me back to "There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions."
Can you please check the following article on how to deactivate the theme and plugins when you can't reach the dashboard, then tell me to log into your site so I can fix the issue.
Ok, plugins are deactivated. The dashboard is once again available. At this point I've tried to install the theme and plugins every way I can imagine and can't do it. I'd appreciate your help to get this up and running.
I've managed to install the Hikone theme, but when installing the plugins I faced an error:

Could not create directory.
This error happens because the folders and files on your website need to have certain 'permissions' to allow WordPress to add new plugins. It's like having the right keys to open a door.
To fix this, we need to make sure that the 'plugins' folder in your website's 'wp-content' directory has the right permissions. These permissions should be set to '755'. This allows WordPress to create new folders and files inside the 'plugins' folder.
If you're not sure how to do this, you can contact your hosting provider or website administrator, and they should be able to help you quickly. Once the permissions are set correctly, you should be able to install plugins without any issues.

I am concerned if I need to re-install the theme at some point, I won't be able to. It should be as simple as uploading the zip file and letting the wizard do its magic. It seems like it may need some update in the Envato market.

The plugins directory should be good to go now. I created it, set permissions, and installed Jetpack (without activating it) to make sure it works.
