I'm building my site offline in Local prior to launching, so I apologize that I can't offer a live example.
I'm deploying the Masonry 3 Columns front page, as seen in the Dark imported demo. I'm assigning categories/taxonomies and filling in all the associated metadata. However, under Portfolio Categories > Build Query, I'm not having any luck with the "Order by" function. I currently have it set to order by Title, but it is definitely not sorting by Title as it appears within the individual portfolio items.
In a best-case scenario, I'd be able to drag-and-drop the portfolio items into the order that I want, even if only on the Wordpress backend. At least I'd like to be able to choose the order and importance of the items in the portfolio on the front page, but I'm not seeing a way to manage that.
Can you offer guidance on (a) how to make the portfolio to sort by the actual item titles, as in the menu photo (attached), or (b) can you any other methods for forcing a specific order on the portfolio as a whole?
We're so sorry for the late reply, somehow I missed your ticket.
I've just done some testing on my local server with the Proton theme, and the order function was working as excepted, the order by title displayed the projects based on the first letter, as an example (Avengers, Broken Tipo, Clouds).
If you want to make a custom order of the projects, you can set the order settings to Menu Order, and then install the following plugin and go to Dashboard > Projects and change the order of them just by drag&drop (for this feature you can check the plugin docs).
As you don't have the site live yet, I can't check why the Title function was "not working", but I suggest you check the theme version and ensure you're running the latest one.
Proton Theme Version 1.4.8
