Woocommerce is missing from my plugins as well as the dashboard.I tried to reinstall and start over but it is giving me the error that the folder already exists. As mentioned before this happened with the Arteon update

I can delete and reinstall but will a future update cause the same issue?I want to make sure my site doesn't go down every time there is an update.

    Hi,

I am very sorry for the late reply, we were not working on the weekend.

The "Folder destination already exists" error message is typically caused when you are trying to install a WordPress plugin that is already installed or if the plugin folder still exists on your server from a previous installation attempt.

When you install a plugin in WordPress, the installation process creates a folder in the "wp-content/plugins" directory with the name of the plugin. If you attempt to install the same plugin again, WordPress will recognize that the folder already exists and prevent you from installing it again.

To fix this issue, you can first check to see if the plugin is already installed. You can do this by navigating to the "Plugins" section of your WordPress dashboard and checking if the plugin is listed there. If it is, then you don't need to install it again.

If the plugin is not listed, then you can manually delete the plugin folder from your server and try to install the plugin again. To do this, connect to your WordPress site via FTP or file manager, navigate to the "wp-content/plugins" directory, and delete the folder with the name of the plugin. Then, you can try to install the plugin again, and it should install without any issues.

Feel free to ask for anything you need.

    Kind Regards
