I have been trying to customise the theme purchase and the header especially has been a problem. It shows twice on some pages, not editable on most pages.
Thank you. your tutorial does not provide answers to the problem. But then, no worries. i have figured it out myself.
There are a few other problems
1. The filter on the shop archive page does not function as it loads the error page when clicked.
2. It's quite difficult to edit the shop sidebar. it's not even editable.
3. The shop categories do not automatically load to the menu items, in the menu section. I had to create the category pages manually and even at such, it does not overflow when it is longer than the page. it just scrolls away
1) I've set the permalinks structure to "post name" and the filters are working now.
2) The Shop Sidebar can be edited by going to Appearance > Widgets > Shop, but it's styled only via CSS, so please tell me what you want to change on it and I'll help you with that.
3) I would suggest you create a mega menu for the categories.
Please don't practice creating a header section on every page, you can create a header template by going to Dashboard > Templates > Theme Builder > Header and assigning it to the entire site.

One more thing though, I need a search form on the menu bar, just after the brand name and before the cart icon.
I have tried to do that but it normally scatters the header arrangement.
