First, you have to upload your portfolio hero image to the WordPress editor of the portfolio item (https://prnt.sc/1rlhjvd), then you have to go the portfolio item and hover at the Edit with Elementor button at the top bar, and a dropdown menu with the templates that are assigned to that item will appear so you have to click on the Single Portfolio template (https://prnt.sc/1rlhktk) and the template will be opened on the Elementor Editor.
Then at the first section of the page, right-click with your mouse and click on the edit section button (https://prnt.sc/1rlhmew) then go to the Style tab of the section > Background > Image, click on the Dynamic Tags icon, and then choose "ACF Image Field" (https://prnt.sc/1rlhns2), then you have to click again on the "ACF Image Field" and at the Key choose "Portfolio Hero Image" (https://prnt.sc/1rlhoaw).
I tried to follow your instructions but I needed the screenshot image references but I can not view (I'd suggest a better Screenshot share app, this one is a hassle plus it doesn't work. I tried opening in Chrome and Safari and it asks me twice to check image boxes then goes to a broken screen (attached) Can you just upload the screen share images to your reply pls?

Yes I'm very familiar with how parallax works in Elementor and many top notch WordPress themes for years. Usually it is mobile friendly and you have options of what devices it works on. The issue here with the Portfolio Kaon options is the fixed backgrounds work on desk/laptop but non on mobile. It also distorts the image a fair amount on mobile view as it is stretching the image to a tall vertical height. It would just be great if they background images worked on mobile view as well and or if there was an option to have a mobile only image option (and still be fixed or parallax) Thanks!
