Upon completing a purchase (test or otherwise) in woocommerce I consistently do not see a thank you/order confirmation page (see attached). Other people who have tested sometimes get a thank you and sometimes the blank screen.
As someone previously said - I too have used a plugin and this has resolved the missing thank you page issue. It's not great and I think you really need to fix it long term but this has solved the problem.
For those reading I used the plugin called "XL NextMove" woocommerce thank you page.
