Using spherical panorama images in BifrÖst

    Hi there,

I open a new ticket for that, even though we already talked a bit about this topic, as I think others may also profit from it someday.
So, as you know, I'm a 3D-artist, making mostly architectural design and visualization. With Bifrost I found a good-looking, tidy and straight-forward theme, that allows me to quickly present my portfolio and to the viewers of my website.
The optic of a single portfolio object I also like a lot - it's clean and the images really stick out nicely! Now, most of these images are simple JPGs, hoewever I recently started doing 360° spherical panoramas alongside my still shots.
For these you recommended using the WP VR plugin. I downloaded and installed it. Now I'd like to know to put these panoramas:

    1. among the other images listed in a portfolio project
    2. in my image gallery

I ask, as setting up a portfolio object I can only seem to add a simple image, but no spherical panorama, functioning as such. Same with the gallery.

    Thanks in advance!

    All the best
    Teo

    Hi Teo,

I'm sorry for the late reply, somehow I missed your ticket.

Can you please take a look at this video on how to add a panorama image with the WP VR plugin?

Feel free to ask for anything you need.

    Kind Regards

Hey there and thanks for the link! I watched it and now know how to upload my panoramas and get them to work with WP VR.
    The question now is:

    1. How can I enbed the shortcode I get from WP VR in my Portfolio Image Gallery (https://prnt.sc/11dggai) - the only option I get there is an image and no textfield, where I can paste the shortcode...
    2. How can I enbed the shortcode I get from WP VR in my regular Elementor Gallery?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Teo,

You can add the shortcode via the shortcode element on Elementor, or you can add it also via the text editor element.

Feel free to ask for anything you need.

    Hey there,

I uploaded a 360 panorama - everything with WP VR worked fine. I got my shortcode, too.
    I now want to:

    1. place the VR image in my Masonary gallery (https://www.helldoor.net/galerie/)
    2. place the VR image among the images of a portfolio project (e.g. https://www.helldoor.net/portfolio/pflegeheim-maisch/)

I know you said I only need to paste the shortcode, but in both cases I have nowhere to paste it in.
So can you show me with screenshots where exactly to place the shortcode, please?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Teo,

I am very sorry for the late reply, we were not working on the weekend.

Can you please provide me with your wp-admin, I will have a quick look to see how have you uploaded it and tell you what to do further.

Feel free to ask for anything you need.

    Kind Regards

    Hi Teo,

I've just checked it and the only option to display it is via the Shortcode element, so we're sorry but you can't include it on the Masonry layout.

Check the attached screenshot of how to display it via the Shortcode element.

I see, thanks. And how about the second question - using the panorama image among the images of a portfolio object (such as this one: https://www.helldoor.net/portfolio/wohnenampark-bad/)?

    Hi Teo,

Unfortunately, we can't add it there either, only if you create your portfolio items with Elementor you can add it via the shortcode as I've told you before.

Feel free to ask for anything you need.

    Kind Regards
