When attempting to disable breadcrumbs, any apparent option to do so is missing or non functional (or I don't understand what it's supposed to do).
Within the Category settings an options to Inherit, Show, or Hide a breadcrumb is visible, which I would assume removes it from the breadcrumb trail if set to hide or Inherit and its parent is set to Hide. This is not the case, setting the category itself or its parent to Hide and it to Inherit does not remove it from the breadcrumb trail on any page where it might appear. This option appears to stem from Advanced Custom Fields, which is required to install with the theme.
Within the Customize>Utility>Hero>Breadcrumb section there are no options. This would be where I would expect the settings that change the result of the `kyoto_breadcrumbs()` function and the value of the theme mod `breadcrumbs_seperator` to be. I'm not well versed enough in WP or its database shenanigans to test if manually setting the relevant theme mod would change the behavior.
Thank you for changing the value, the base issue is now resolved but regardless the option to change the breadcrumbs does not appear for me both in and out of Incognito mode and on both Chrome and Firefox.
I'm not sure if it would help debug but the development console throws the following errors only when navigating to the Utility>Hero>Breadcrumb area.

Hi,
That's quite strange, I've just tested it on both Chrome and Firefox - Incognito tab and it was showing alright.

Try to install the following plugin, and check if the Breadcrumb button is back.

Installing Kirki gets rid of the i18n warnings but the translate error is still there and the Breadcrumbs section does not populate.
Hi,
I'm so sorry for the late reply, somehow I missed your ticket.
Can you please attach a screenshot of your console again, also please try to clear the cache of your browser.
Feel free to ask for anything you need.

Post-cache clear with the kirki plugin installed navigating to the Breadcrumbs section.
