    Hi there, Elementor will not work on my "Posts" page (titled "Articles" for my site). When I click "Edit with Elementor," it says "preview could not be loaded." I tried enabling "safe mode" and it still won't load. I tried trouble shooting further and I enabled "switch editor loader method" and it still won't work. 

    To note: Elementor works on "Home" page and "About" page. 

    Permalinks is set to "Post name"

    Hi,

    I am sorry for the late reply, we did not work on the weekend.

    Can you please let me know if you're running on the latest version of Centaurus? Also, are you using any plugin that is not recommended or required by Centaurus? Have you tried disabling them and see if the issue occurs.

    Oh thank you for the response. I did some googling and it looks like this is a common Elementor issue with the page you establish as your "Posts" page - see links below. However, I tried the sneaky way of removing my "Blog" page from being the Posts page - in two spots - (1) Settings -> Reading  and (2) Appearance -> Customize -> Homepage settings, however, the Blog page is still pulling in the posts even though it's not listed as the Posts page and I'm guessing it might be from the back-end?

    Hi,

    I'm sorry for the late reply,

    You can’t edit posts or archive pages using Elementor, so if you've set the Blog page as a post page at Dashboard > Settings > Reading, you can edit it via the Elementor.

    Hi there,

    I'm a little confused. I even created a new "Blog" page but I did NOT set it as the "Posts" page - that is still left to "-select" and yet, the Blog page is still pulling in the posts-  so it must be coded somewhere to pull in the posts? 

    Per the YouTube video, it looks like the workaround is to NOT make it the Posts page (but you'd have to fix it because it's somehow pulling in posts even though it's not labeled as the Posts page) - and I can use Elementor Pro to pull the posts in without it being labeled as the Posts page. That way, I can edit it. Because I can't have the rest of my pages not have the banner header photo but the Blog page does - that is off-brand. 

    Can you let me know if you can figure out why it's still pulling in posts even though it's not listed as the Posts page?

    Hi there - can you please read my post from two days ago? You were supposed to log into my Word Press admin to see what was going on. Your response with the link is not helpful. I already went through all of that. Do I have to repeat what is going on? The posts page is NOT listed as the Posts page, yet it is still pulling all of the posts. This must be a setting on the back-end somewhere that you have to fix.  I know what the work-around is but I have to have it NOT pull the posts in. Please, please, please, please let me know an answer as soon as possible. This is very frustrating that you aren't helping.

    Hi,

    I've checked it, so please try to make the following changes.

    PHP Recommendations 

    Memory Size: memory_limit = 256M
Script execution time: max_execution_time = 400
Number of input variables: max_input_vars = 4000

    If you don’t have access to the php.ini file, you can add the following values in your .htaccess file:

    php_value max_execution_time 400
php_value memory_limit 256M
php_value upload_max_filesize 10M

    Be careful using these settings, some hosting companies don’t allow users to change the PHP settings, if you experience any problem after making these changes, please revert these in your .htaccess file, using your FTP client.

    I've created a page called "Blog page 2" and it's working alright with Elementor, you can use that page and just rename it if you're not able to make the mentioned changes.

    Hi there - I just used your Blog Page 2 and it looked great and was working great - until I renamed it to "Blog" and now it's back to the original way I didn't want with the banner header image that I can't remove. Does it have something to do with the page titled "Blog"?  Please let me know. I am so confused because it's not listed as the Posts page so it should not be pulling the posts and it is.

    Hi,

    I've checked your website and saw that you've created a post category with the name "Blog" which had the same slug as the Blog page "blog", so I've changed that category slug to "blog-category" and now everything is alright.

    Wow - this is great. Thank you very much. One more minor question about the sharing icons that I enabled in Jetpack.... two screenshots are attached. The icons on the website aren't pulling in the little pictures like they should be.

    I activated the Font Awesome plugin that you recommended, but it's not updating the icons.... is there something else I have to do to get it working?
