I just installed BitFrost. I have installed and activated on my existing site. I have a little work to do I know, but none of the elements that seem to exist in the Elementor documentation seem to exist. Example: I want to have black footer with white text on it. Nothing I have searched or none of the documentation seems to get to anything that allows me to change the background colour to black. And even if I change anything in the customise section and then press 'publish' it gives an error. This is on both Safari and Chrome.
As you're using the template footer layout, you need to change the color of the text and background on that template and not in Customizer, in Customizer you can change it if you're using the default footer.
So if you want to use the Bifrost black footer, at the layout you need to set it to default and then select the dark skin.
This issue maybe is causing by a plugin, so please try to deactivate all the plugins one by one( besides those that are required by the theme ), and then you may find which plugin is causing this issue.

Hi,
I am very sorry for the late reply, we were not working at the weekend.
Can you please provide me with your WP-admin, I will have a quick look to see what's going on.
Feel free to ask for anything you need.
Kind Regards

Hi
Not sure if you saw the post where I said that in the Theme Customizer, I cannot update anything. It causes an error.
Do you have a video on this footer colour change or image based tutorials?
Thanks

The issue with Customise update was with the Slate Admin plugin.
