I see add-to-cart quick button on shop page but add-to-cart button is disabled on product page.
It won't let you to add product on cart before selecting the product size. So I think it's a bug, restricting on product page and allowing to buy product without selecting any size on shop page.
I hope you get my point. + I am waiting for theme update.
And for the other thing that you think that's a bug, it doesn't make sense to order a product without selecting its size, because there aren't selected any default option for the size of a product or any other option.
Yes, There is a add-to-cart button on product page which is working fine, and have a good logic behind it, it enforces the customer to select the size first and then add product to the cart.
But, on other pages like shop page, there is add-to-cart button (quick button) that won't restrict you to add product to cart. If you try to add the product it directly add the product to cart, which is I think a bug. If some product has a options to select the size first then why the logic is missing on the shop page. It should have some sort of logic on shop page to display product options OR hide the button completely. I can hide the button through CSS but I think you people, really missing that logic.
I haven't asked you for the cart redirection, I raise a concern about the theme itself won't make any sense. If I redirect a user after they clicked on add-to-cart quick button on shop page they will redirected to cart page and product been added to cart without selecting any specific size. This is what happening on the website. If you click add-to-cart quick button on shop page ,the product been added to cart without any size.
My concern is when you restrict a user to select a size first and then add the product to cart then the same logic is missing on shop page. If other people sell product without any specific option then quick add-to-cart button on shop page directly add the product to cart which is great. But for the people who has options, for them you people are missing that logic. Either you show the add-to-cart button with all the option available on shop page itself. Or you disabled the button after checked that the product has option that needs to be selected while shopping.
Your theme is great, No Question. But whenever I raise a concern about some missing logic or theme update I don't hear any replies. Are you guys really going to incorporate the basic understanding of it or going to dodge this question as well?
If you the one who is handling this support don't have a much knowledge about theme development then I request you to concern it with your higher team, may be they know What I am talking about. I don't want a thread of replies without any solid fix. I can do hide the button, but as a theme, in my knowledge if someone show some error to you guys, you should appreciate that rather than redirecting the user to some other stuff, which is not relevant. and THAT IS BAD BEHAVIOUR
I have asked multiple times about the theme update. It's been 3 months after I purchase the them, But there are no update for the theme. If as a user I use your theme invest my time and money building my website around it, I expect it to update should come frequently. but at your matter, things are out of control, support don't provide actual support, theme is not updating, theme has a lot of missing loops. not really tested on all platforms and all.
If you guys really wants to keep going, keep things updated and bugs free.
Hope, I will get some positive fix out of this, else I have to take some serious action.

I thought that was your question, I'm very sorry, I wasn't ignoring you nor the question. Unfortunately that's the only option available in Soma, it was meant to be simple from the beginning. We'll reconsider it and see if we have huge demand to add that as feature in the upcoming days.
The last update of Soma was at 15 September 2020, we've released a new update yesterday it will be accepted today, it will include some bug fixes and plugin updates.
