I have created portfolio items, and assigned them portfolio categories. Then I built a portfolio on a page, selected the categories for the "build query" and made it sortable.
The taxonomy terms are displayed as they should be above the portfolio item display, but when I click on them, all that happens is that they change color, they do not change the items that are displayed below them.
I have verified that when I view the demo sites, and I do a similar thing, that the items sort, so it's not my browser settings.
I added the portfolio to the page, selected a couple taxonomies, and then chose to make it sortable. The links do nothing for me in any browser that I try. I don't have a ton of plugins on the site. Looking forward to any suggestions for what might be causing it! Thanks very much.
Sure, I can make you an account, but I need an out-of-band way to send you the password, don't I? This is a public ticket. Or will the "private" setting make a reply visible only to the support side?
It seems like you were right, filters were not working from the recent update. 1.2.2.
We have released a new update 1.2.3.
Version 1.2.3 Fix: Compatible with WordPress 5.4.2 Fix: Updates Slider Revolution to 6.2.14 Fix: Filters JavaScript Issue
So, I have also updated your theme. Please check it and let me know if it works alright now.
2) You can set the header position to light and absolute, that will make make arrow visible and much better. I've done that, please check it. https://prnt.sc/t5ivga

(a) now none of the portfolio listings (for example, on the top page, here: http://test.origamido.com/ ) are displayed. They're there in the page editor, but not in the live page(s). Do I have to do something to cause them to be displayed again?
(b) What's the purpose of the "container" setting/how is it supposed to be used if it doesn't constrain the header image to the width of the header? I don't want to use the "absolute" setting, I don't want the image behind the menu on desktop, and it causes the site logo to vanish, too. Is there a way to have a full-height image (I can live with it being the full viewport width, wider than the menu on desktops) that's actually the full height of the viewport (not taller, as it is now) so the scroll arrow is visible on all devices?
(And, actually, I just realize I mis-used "viewport" in my last comment.)
But I know why the bottom of the "full height" image is off the screen in this layout - it looks like it's off by exactly the height of the menu bar across the top. Any way to fix this? It means the "full height" calculation for any layout that has the menu as a bar needs to subtract the bar height to get the actual, *visible* height...
If it can't be made to work that way, I could live with the header absolute if it didn't also kill the logo visibility.
The update has broken the portfolio listing functionality on the entire site; now I cannot include a portfolio on any page. I have tried selecting new taxonomy items, building one with no taxonomies selected, inserting new portfolios on pages, etc., to no avail.
Is there something I need to do to re-initialize things, or something?
Actually, it looks like the update has broken other the theme elements - the "service" elements I was using also don't display.
Since I"m hitting client deadlines, here, I'm rolling back to the previous release, where at least the theme stuff functioned (except for the ability to filter the portfolio items, an item I can live without.)
I'll revisit this after the site release, gotta go deal with that. Sorry, I don't have time to follow up on this now.
Even worse, we've rolled back the code and the various elements STILL don't work. We're trying to figure out what's wrong, but it is acting like none of the theme page-building elements do anything at all - where they should be, there's nothing at all on the pages, it's as if the code that's suppose to build them isn't getting executed at all. Very weird.
I can give you access back to the site if you want to take a look, let me know.
(NB: I need the site to keep running, I'm still adding content; if you're going to do anything that takes it offline, it would be good to know.)
Be careful using these settings, some hosting companies don’t allow users to change php settings, if you experience any problem after making these changes, please revert these in your .htaccess file, using your FTP client.

Hi Anne,
I'm sorry for the late reply, we did not work on the weekend.
Can you please provide me with an URL, there could be any JavaScript issue coming from any third-party plugin that is messing with the code.
Feel free to ask for anything you need.
Kind Regards

Sure, here's a page on the test site:

Hi Anne,
There doesn't seem to be any JavaScript issue on the console.
Can you please provide me with your wp-admin, I will have a quick look to see what's going on.

Hi Anne,
I am very very sorry, it all worked alright in our localhost, and I don't know why the things crashed
I highly apologize for that, I really didn't know that the update would mess the things.
Let me know if I am able to help you with anything.

Hi Anne,
I need to know just one thing, it could be the memory limit of the hosting that is leading to all the issues.
Provide me with your wp-admin, I will do only a check and see how your server is standing with the settings.

Hi Anne,
Unfortunately, I do not have access to go at Tools > Site Health > Info. Please screenshot it for me. (Server)

Hi Anne,
The time limit of your website seems very low.
