    Hello!

I don't understand how to post portfolio items. I downloaded Neuron and all portfolio elements v1 - v8. I have this portfolio tab in the back-end. But how can I post for example 10 different portfolio items and describtions? Do I have to duplicate the portfolio items in the back-end (how?) and change them? Or do I have to make a new post and give it an attribute "portfolio" (how?)

    Or what is my misunderstanding?

    Thanx for help, Jason Krüger

    Hi Jason,

To duplicate them, please have a look into a recent tutorial that was written by our team.

I will explain shortly how the portfolio items are visible on the page.

The images that are displayed on the portfolio element are portfolio items, they are linked through categories to the portfolio element. The images that are displayed for the portfolio item are placed on featured image of each portfolio item.

The following example shows a posts element in which are attached 'Apps', 'Development' and 'Editing' categories, which means all the portfolio items that have assigned one of these categories will be directly displayed on that page.

There is also the Metro Layout Type in which the posts are manually added via query field, the reason why they are manually added there is because of their columns flexibility.

Feel free to ask for anything you need.

    Kind Regards

    Hi!

Thx for the quick reply... but I'm still confused.

So where do I create a portfolio-item? In the back-end at "portfolio items"? (so I have to copy the templates (how?) and change them? ... this can't be the solution...). Or via new Posts (but I don't see any connections to portfolio there, no templates to choose and so on)?

    Thx, Jason Krüger

    Hi!

OK, fixed and understood it. Sorry for confusion. My solution was: Whenever I change a portfolio template and afterwards reimport the portfolios from demo import, it adds another new template to the one I changed before. So now I can work with the templates. Don't know if this is the way to go but it works.

    Best, Jason
