today, while building my site, my main page disappeared, and I got this error message from Wordpress, from which I understand there is an error with a a function (shop?).

I am very sorry about it, can you please make sure to do just one thing, install and activate the plugin WooCommerce. There is a known issue that happens time to time when WooCommerce is not activated, please activate it and see if the issue is gone, we'll fix this in the upcoming update, so yuo don't have to keep WooCommerce theme, we'll let you know when we'll do that.

So when you update the theme, please delete the Neuron Core plugin and install it again by going to Appearance > Install Plugins. It's already included in the theme.
I deleted the old Neuron Core plugin, downloaded the latest version of Envato Market.zip, installed it, then reactivated the Neuron Core, but it is still appears as the 2.0.2 version, and the Bifrost Child theme I am using it still appears as being the 2.0.0 version. As a consequence the main menu still not working on mobile devices in portrait mode...

After you update the Bifrost theme to version 2.2.8, you should delete the Neuron Core plugin and re-install it again by going to Dashboard > Appearance > Install Plugins and installing the plugin again, as the latest version is already included.
As for the Child theme, it doesn't need to be updated.
Thanks, I activated the license according to your suggestions, so the Bifrost theme seems to be updated now, nonetheless, the Briforst child I am using seems to be still the outdated one, and the initial problems still persist.
You don't have to update the child theme as we don't release updates for the child theme, so you can keep the version of the child theme you have on your site.
I saw that you didn't update the Neuron Core plugin, so I just updated it by deleting the version you have and re-installed it by going to Appearance > Install Plugins, as it is already included in the theme as I've told you before.

Please make sure that you're running the latest version of the Bifrost theme and Neuron Core plugin.
You can update the theme directly on your dashboard, via the plugin below:

So when you update the theme, please delete the Neuron Core plugin and install it again by going to Appearance > Install Plugins. It's already included in the theme.
