    Hi there,

    I'm looking for a randomized carousel of images that don't link to anything.  

    It seems with Portfolio carousels I can have randomized images but they must link to their portfolio pages.  Or I can have a Carousel-style Media Gallery that doesn't link to anything but is not randomized.  

    Is it possible within the Bifrost system to have carousel-style images that are randomized but don't link?

    Hi Friesemk,

    If you want to link them you can use the posts element, if not you can freely use the media gallery element. So, the carousel items will be only images instead of posts.

    Hi Neuron,

    Thank you for your response but I'm not sure that it has answered my question. 

    How do I randomize the images shown in a media gallery? 

    Or, if the only way to randomize images in a carousel is using Portfolio, who do I remove the linking so it functions like a gallery?

    I apologize if my questions aren't clear.... I'm trying to word it as best I can.

    Hi Katie,

    You're right, that's what you need to do to have random images.

    Check also the basic gallery, if that is suitable it has the option for orderby.
