    Hi,

    i am getting following Error from Elementor, when i want to a edit a portfolio Item:

    "Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call the_content function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page."

    It only happens on the portfolio post type, not on pages. Elementor is activated for all post types in the settings.

    Hi Jakob,

    Please click Save Changes on Settings > Permalinks and go to Elementor > Settings and see if the Portfolio is checked.

    Hi,

    did that. But it didn't change anything: Portfolio was still checked and the error still exists...

    Hi Jakob,

    Can you please provide me with your wp-admin, I will have a quick look to see what's going on.

    There could be an issue with the permissions of your hosting, it simply does not allows the files to be written.

    Before doing that, can you please try to publish once the portfolio item, then edit it?

    Hi Jakob,

    This is connected with your hosting permissions, so how you can solve and not face this issue again?

    Whenever this appears, please switch to WordPress editor and click publish, that will make the post writable.

    I have updated all the portfolio items, also I've created new ones, I didn't face the issue to any.
