Recently I bought Arkhitekton and as it had Elementor as a page builder (which I’m not too fond of; neither Visual Composer), I almost decided to return it. Glad I did not, as it has a lot going for it. So I decided to keep the theme and I have a question.
After a fresh WordPress install and checking memory and php version settings (7.3), I decided to upload the demo content. After that I used the ‘Interactive projects’ page for my home page. In Elementor (free version) there’s an option to choose a background image. Default there is a placeholder image, but I changed that and used an image of my own. (2048 pixels wide)
After choosing the image as my background image, there’s text on top, divided into boxes. So far so good and it looks just like in the demo. Then I wanted to preview the image, so I clicked on the ‘eye’ icon, which is down and to the left, next to a few other icons. The page flashed one time, after which it only showed the top part (header) of the whole image. (See screenshot) So not the top part of the boxes.
I decided to purge the cache (WP Optimize installed) and reload the page. Same thing again. On the Admin side, I can see that the page displays correctly. It only happens when I want to preview the page, by clicking the ‘eye’ icon. Then I switched back to the dashboard of WP again and tried previewing the page there.
I have tried to install the latest Arkhitekton version 1.1.4 and switched from the child theme back to the main theme. No luck either. I have disabled the Neuron Core (version 1.1.0) and deleted it. Then reinstalled it again. No luck.
I’m running the most recent version of WordPress, WP Optimize, Elementor, A licensed copy of Slider Revolution (latest) and that’s about it.
Do you have any idea what might be causing this? Is it some setting I overlook?
