I am having a hard time in uploading images. It was just fine with some occasional failure, but since few days ago, no matter what I try, it keeps failing uploading - "Post-processing of the image failed. If this is a photo or a large image, please scale it down to 2500 pixels and upload it again." Apparently files area not above 2500px, and around 1mb.
So I talked to the hosting company, Dreamhost, and they cleared cash and temp file of the server. But I still get a similar message "Unexpected response from the server. The file may have been uploaded successfully. Check in the Media Library or reload the page.".
Then I tried delete cash of my browser, didn't work either. If I try browser uploader, I get 404 error on "media-new.php" page.
Could you please take a look at this issue. If my memory serves me right, I haven't updated any plug in or wordpress.
This has to do with file permissions, the WordPress is not able to upload the file on your server. Please have a look into this article, it explains step by step how to fix it.
