I want to use a portfolio layout as my projects are part graphic design and part motion design, but in the portfolio pages the only option i have is to add images as portfolio items gallery.
The images that are displayed on the portfolio element are portfolio items, they are linked through categories to the portfolio element. The images that are displayed for the portfolio item are placed on featured image of each portfolio item.
The following example shows a posts element in which are attached 'Apps', 'Development' and 'Editing' categories, which means all the portfolio items that have assigned one of these categories will be directly displayed on that page.
There is also the Metro Layout Type in which the posts are manually added via query field, the reason why they are manually added there is because of their columns flexibility.

One more thing, how can i get the sticky description, like on the side porfolio ( in the portfolio items settings) , but in the elementor portfolio.
As my description is on the right side, the content often on the mobile version, the description is below the images, when i try some fixed positioning, the text is above the photos. In contrary of the side portfolio with stycky positioning where its always before and fixed in a good way.
Unfortunately, by default that is not possible. I heard that this plugin makes able to have sticky effect on section, please test it and see if it works for you.

You need to create a portfolio post and import the template on the portfolio page, so you can later duplicate it and start use it as you need.

2) Well, videos can be added only to the portfolio items that are fully created in Elementor not in Side or Vertical Portfolio.
