    Hi!

    I would like to make the header on the homepage transparent so i can cover the background (slider template) over the whole page.

    I think I tried pretty much everything but i keep on having this white block around it.

    Please help,

    Hi Hanneke,

    With transparent do you mean that the element below to go to the top? That's the header position, please set it to absolute in page settings or in Appearance > Customize > Header > Layout.

    Hi, 

    Yes that is the effect  I want but if I set it to absolute it applies to every other page.

    Is there a way to only apply to homepage?

    Another question, i have some white space at the top and bottom of the page ( see attachment.)

    Is there a way to fix this?

    Please edit the page with elementor and click edit section to the top one.

    Set the columns gap to no gap and the spacing will be removed.

    I don't get that option like your screenshot so it doesn't work for me.

    I made my background template in Slider Revolution, then I used the shortcode element to add it to my homepage.

    In the attachment you can see the options i have..
