Its really hassel with this theme. I spent days setting things up but its a mess and there is things not working. I could make a long list.

I see myself as a professional amateur. Used other themes before. I even worked with web design. But this was just trail and error click hell.

Now I just saw that portfolio images don't show neither as featured image or on the actual portfolio page on Chrome and Firefox.

Menu responsiveness do not work on Safari.

    There's more...

    Hi,

We try to make it as simple as we can, there can be bugs but we try our best to communicate with users and fix them as soon as we can.

    Chrome: https://prnt.sc/qone32

    Firefox: https://prnt.sc/qonedb

    Safari Mobile: https://prnt.sc/qonen5

Please let me know with what we can assist you to make your experience with Bifrost a lot better.

One more thing, how the portfolio items works.

The images that are displayed on the portfolio element are portfolio items, they are linked through categories to the portfolio element. The images that are displayed for the portfolio item are placed on featured image of each portfolio item.

The following example shows a posts element in which are attached 'Apps', 'Development' and 'Editing' categories, which means all the portfolio items that have assigned one of these categories will be directly displayed on that page.

One more thing is the Metro Layout Type in which the posts are manually added via query field, the reason why they are manually added there is because of their flexibility for columns.

    Kind Regards

I'm using Masonry and all set up are made as you describe with featured image on the portfolio item. This I already wrote long time ago how I'm adding images.

The screen shots you posted don't proof anything. Thats only your own dummy demo content. Currently I only added one portfolio item. If you scroll further down you can see it or not depending on browser. It will only show with Safari.

All the issues I have posted comes when setting up your own content, using header templates, adding images from media archive, setting featured image on portfolio items et cetera. Using the default headers and demo pages with dummy content it works. These images are not from the media archive and things are hard coded in the theme.

These issues are applied to sticky menu, portfolio images, header template, responsive menu, featured image size et cetera.

I have killed the cache, turned the computer upside down and shaken it but I can't get it to work.

On this portfolio item page I can't see the images on Chrome and Firefox but they show up in Safari, all on Mac. The two images used are added from the media archive: https://re-design.se/portfolio/lelo-easter-campaing/

It looks like I have to leave this theme and look for something else. Spent a lot of trial and error time on this.

Whats going on with things when you use none demo content, templates?

    Thanks!

Okay I found the problem with the missing images. Its due to mixed content so they get blocked. Safari is not that picky.

Mixed Content: The page at 'https://re-design.se/portfolio/lelo-easter-campaing/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image 'http://media.re-design.se/2018/09/Lelo-Happy-Easter.jpg'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

There was a default WP media setting that was set to a none secure address. It should just be left blank and all will be working.

    Thanks!
