Hello, I'm tying to build out my portfolio by editing demo content. The demo content shows up in my Portfolio admin panel but the posts are empty.
I added a few images to the gallery in one of the post but they did not show up when I previewed the page in elementor or my browser. I was able to upload a hero image and see it on both places. I'm now getting a 404 error for the posts and I can't see them.
Before the 404 error I was not able to see both of my test posts on the homepage.
I'm worried the problem might be that there is a "Portfolio" and "Portfolios" content type in admin dashboard. "Portfolio" is where my test content is and I can not figure out how to remove the other "portfolios" from the admin panel.
Please deactivate all the other plugins except the plugins that were recommended or required by the theme itself, maybe that is coming from a third-party plugin. We add the one called Portfolio via Neuron Core plugin.

Thank you, I managed to deactivate the proper plugin. I can preview the page but it's blank. When I try to edit that same page with Elementor I receive a response "Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call the_content function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page."
In addition, there is still no demo or placeholder content showing on the my homepage.
I've managed to resolve the Elementor "content" function issue by saving permalinks and clearing my cache. But I still have the main issue of my portfolio not showing up on the portfolio agency homepage.
I am sorry for the late reply, we did not work on the weekend.
Can you please provide me with an URL, so I can check if there appears any issue or not, the items are appearing in Elementor and not in live preview right?
Just one more thing, this is how the portfolio items and other post types works:
The images that are displayed on the portfolio element are portfolio items, they are linked through categories to the portfolio element. The images that are displayed for the portfolio item are placed on featured image of each portfolio item.
The following example shows a posts element in which are attached 'Apps', 'Development' and 'Editing' categories, which means all the portfolio items that have assigned one of these categories will be directly displayed on that page.
One more thing is the Metro Layout Type in which the posts are manually added via query field, the reason why they are manually added there is because of their flexibility for columns.
There's an issue appearing on the typed heading element, please remove it and try adding it again, if you don't plan to use as typing heading you can use the regular heading.
Feel free to ask for anything you need.
Kind Regards
