Hi I would like to have customers browse categories/sub categories rather then seeing products. Is it possible to only show the subcategories including images and names of subcategory (i.e. no products)?
Unfortunately something like that is not possible on Amartha, but you can have the solution to add image boxes instead, they will work basically the same. If you want, provide me with your wp-admin and I will create a sample page so you can see it, make sure to tick private on the reply.

Also, I'm seeing plenty of options there that are coming from third-party plugins, to clear the mess, please deactivate all the plugins except of these that are recommended or required by Amartha. The list can be found at Appearance > Install plugins after you deactivate all plugins.

Once they find a category that has products in it then it will show the products.
