I have several portfolio pieces that I want password protected. They are set to password protected and I can see where you are required to enter a password, but all the content also appears without entering in a password.
Well, you're right the gallery is not hidden from the password content, so please replace the following file that I am attaching on your child theme(in case any update nothing would lose).

Make sure to extract the zip file first.

How are you supposed to update the file?

Do you mean for the file that I have attached or the update of the theme?
The file should be uploaded using FTP manager or using the following plugin will allow you to upload files onto your WordPress.

If you need further help, simply provide me with your wp-admin and I'll handle it, make sure to tick private on the reply.
