Could you please help me with the following problem:
I would like to be navigated only in the same category on a single portfolio page. I mean I would like to loop it inside only one category.
I found this option in Customizing > Protfolio > Portfolio Item / Category. "Enable if you want the posts to be navigated only in the same category." There are two options: "Enable" and "Disable". But when I choose option "Enable" the navigation disappears.
Sorry for the late reply, are you able to provide me with your wp-admin and let me know which exact post is not having the navigation. Make sure to tick private on the reply.

You were completely right, there was a minor issue on the code, when you activate the category, he searched for normal categories and not for portfolio categories, I have fixed that and I will release an update for it, so nothing to worry for you, I've prepared you the file, so you can insert it on the child theme on the location:
I uploaded your file (navigation.php) to ../ezel.me/wp-content/themes/bifrost/templates/portfolio-item. There was file with the same name and I overwrote it.
But unfortunately I can't to be navigated only in the same category on a single portfolio page. As you can see on the attached screenshots when I am, for instance, on the portfolio page "office-22", one of the navigation buttons leads the user to another category (Wardrobe-063 and Office-023 are in different categories).
It is not a problem at all. I uploaded the file to the server. Unfortunately, looks like it doesn't work.
Just please visit this page (https://www.ezel.me/portfolio/kidsroom-030/) , scroll to the bottom and you can see that the right and left navigation links leads you to the different categories: "bedroom_r" (12 items in category) and "kitchen_r" (18 items in category) (see attached screenshots). In the same time, the page Kidsroom-030 has category "kidsroom_r" (7 items in category).
May be I do something wrong... i don't know. I upload the 'navigation.php' to the "../ezel.me/wp-content/themes/bifrost/templates/portfolio-item". Also I created the same folders in 'bifrost-child' and uploaded it there "../ezel.me/wp-content/themes/bifrost-child/templates/portfolio-item". Is it correct?

Please make sure that you have two or more portfolio items published on the same category, that could be the reason that navigation is not displaying.

Could it be that you're checking the portfolio that has this category: https://prnt.sc/pqo7an
Or none of them is showing the categories? Can you please try to change as well the permalinks at Post Name in Settings > Permalinks.

I've tested the code, it outputs alright.
As for the portfolio Items,
Bedroom-028: https://prnt.sc/pssiy7
Kitchen-003: https://prnt.sc/pssjm3
It seems they both share the category: Рендер
Could that be the issue that is not working?
