Well, changing to ASC or DESC would require the change via the child theme, unfortunately that cannot be achieved via filters or hooks. I have prepared you the file: dendrite_portfolio.php, first extract it and then upload to dendrite-child > vc_templates > dendrite_portfolio.php.

You can change it any time from ASC to DESC in line 700. https://prnt.sc/po1tv3
