    This basically happens for every portfolio page I edit: the text in the editor is totally missed in the rendered page, images included. It always appears the default text, even if I delete it from the back-end.

    Hi,

    Please enable the portfolio post type on the Elementor and after that a button Edit with Elementor will appear.
