I have ben trying to build a portfolio on a mansonry grid like the demo and can't work out why it does not behave like this, seems that you can't customize Dentrite like this even if you sell it like that on your page. Maybe there are steps that I am missing (getting rid of headers, footers, having menus hidden and having a borderless fullscreen masonry grid).

Also, you could try the one click demo importer. Everything that is listed in our demo would be imported, so you could simply start removing what you don't need and have the same page.

Please edit the row that you have attached the portfolio, in the extra options there are some spacing values, you can set that to no padding and everything will look the same.

Thank you so much. I have another question, my portfolio grid items will be mostly videos (Vimeo), the theme supports video embedding but I don't seem to be able to control the vimeo player size on portfolio items. Is there any way to size the videos as needed in portfolios?.
If not, is there a way to link portfolio items to specific pages when users click them in the grid?

You can change it via the Custom CSS in Theme Options.

There are some few steps that you need to take care to achieve a page like that.
1) You need to set the header to absolute and no container, you can do that in page settings or in theme options.
2) Set the Row options to stretch, this can be set directly from the page builder.
3) Set the filters style to Animated. http://prntscr.com/o4jggf
4) Do not forget to remove the spacing in the portfolio element.
