    Hello,

is it possible to use a video instead of an image on a portfolio site like this https://neuronthemes.com/bifrost/portfolio/staithes/? I would like to use a video and some pictures of the same size on such a site.

Thank you in advance for your answer

    Hi Thorsten,

I am sorry our support system was down, so I could not reply earlier.

Well, you can do that with the default template, but I have exported the same page created with Elementor. So, you can start importing it and creating it with Elementor.

    Kind Regards,

    Hello NeuronThemes,

thank you so much for the answer and your help. Unfortunately I haven't made it yet. I imported the file via "One Click Demo Import" but couldn't find this imported new site.  Not under "Portfolio" and not under "Sites". Am I doing something wrong? I must confess I am not a WordPress professional.
If you still have a tip, I would be very grateful. Thanks

    Hi Thorsten,

Demo Importer works best to import on a new install of WordPress, after installing if any trouble comes up, please reset your WordPress and start from the beginning.

There are some settings that are needed to be checked before importing demo content, please check the following values in your php.ini file:

    PHP Recommendations
    Memory Size: memory_limit = 256M
    Script execution time: max_execution_time = 400
    Number of input variables: max_input_vars = 4000

If you don’t have access to the php.ini file, you can add the following values in your .htaccess file:

    php_value max_input_vars 4000
    php_value max_execution_time 400
    php_value memory_limit 256M

Be careful using these settings, some hosting companies don’t allow users to change php settings, if you experience any problem after making these changes, please revert these in your .htaccess file, using your FTP client.

    Kind Regards

    Hello NeuronThemes,

Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately I did not manage to import the file "elementor-20197-2019-06-17.json" despite a reset. At least I couldn't find a corresponding new page under "Pages" or "Portfolio". But I don't have access to the php.ini file either. And I had to undo the change of the .htaccess file, because nothing worked after the change.

In your first feedback you wrote that I can also do my intention with the standard template. Could you briefly describe the procedure for this to me. Do I have to rebuild the entire layout in Elementor or is it easier? I can't insert videos under "Portfolio Item Gallery", can I?

    Thank you for your feedback

    Hi Thorsten,

Well, that's the point. You are not able to add videos on that part, except if you create it by scratch with Elementor. The template could be find on the Elementor > Saved Templates. You can import it simply by clicking the folder icon while editing the portfolio item with Elementor.

If you want provide me with your wp-admin and I will create a portfolio item, so you can easily duplicate it.

    Don't forget to tick private.

    Kind Regards

    Hi,

I have created you the portfolio item, please check it here.

You can use the duplicate plugin to start duplicating the portfolio items and start building yours.
