    I attempted to upload the zip file to my wordpress.org acct. but it failed. Message was: "The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet."

    Hey Doug,

    Please extract that package and inside you'll find proton.zip, install simply that one and you'll be good to go. The file you're trying to install is the whole package that includes documentation, dummy content, installable file. 

    The other alternative is to install directly from ThemeForest the installable file.

    Hi

    thanks for the direction. I did just upload the proton.zip file and it uploaded fine. However, attached is what I'm seeing which isn't what I expected. Seems I'm missing a step. Hopefully once I'm over this hurdle it'll be smooth sailing

    Hi Doug,

    Actually that's what you get firstly, but you can import the demo content and have everything that we have in our demo, except the images. Please follow the steps in the getting started section.
