I'm trying to unparent pages from the demo for example /portfolio-page/portfolio-wide/portfolio/ so the portfolio page would be a top page without a parent but when going to page attributes there is NO page parent drop down list as usual.
That is a bug which comes from the Gutenberg(new WordPress editor), please wait maybe 10 or 15 seconds and the page parent attribute will be displayed there, I have reported it many times on the WordPress, forums. You can also switch to classic editor and not deal with the issue.

Please check this article, it explains how to disable the Gutenberg, right after disabling you'll have a classic editor, so the parent page attribute will work without problem.

waiting does not work even after a minute nothing shows up.
