I'm trying to edit the "Portfolio Wide Metro" page. I need to delete the box above and the default image that says "Portfolio Wide Metro. Use the metro layout powered by packery plugin ...", I mean move the "Portfolio metro box" to the top. how can I do it?
On the other hand, where can I change the thumbnails of this page and the titles that appear when doing mouse hover?
The images that are displayed on the portfolio element are portfolio items, they are linked through categories to the portfolio element. The images that are displayed for the portfolio item are placed on featured image of each portfolio item.
The following example shows a posts element in which are attached 'Apps', 'Development' and 'Editing' categories, which means all the portfolio items that have assigned one of these categories will be directly displayed on that page.
One more thing is the Metro Layout Type in which the posts are manually added via query field, the reason why they are manually added there is because of their flexibility for columns.
It is being a bit confusing for me to understand this...
Where can I upload the featured image of each porfolio item? Should I do it from Worppress porfolio item edit page? For example, following the your theme (https://neuronthemes.com/centaurus/portfolio-page/portfolio-wide/portfolio-wide-metro/) If I want to set that gray cardboard box image as the Side portfolio v3 (like it is, see the attached image, please) Where should I upload it or tag it?

That's exactly the featured image, edit the portfolio item and in the right side you'll spot the featured image.
