I am wanting to change the sizes of the thumbnail images of the posts in the Elementor "Posts" widget.
The only way I can see to change the size is to increase the number of columns in the Elementor "Layout" section. However I would like to have manual control over number of rows and column and sizes of thumbnails.
If you are using a thumbnail sizer after finishing the posts, you have to regenerate their thumbnails, follow the instructions below to regenerate thumbnails.

Sorry for the late reply, somehow we missed your ticket.
If you want to have a specific size for your posts, you can go and activate the Thumbnail Resizer at the bottom of the Post widget.
