I am busy with portfolio items and have this question: Should I have the page layout setting on 'default' or 'theme'? And if theme- how do I get rid of the date?
I am very sorry for the late reply, we were not working on the weekend.
The structure of the portfolio items can be created through Elementor, you can create a default layout for all the portfolios by going to Dashboard > Templates > Theme Builder > Single Portfolio.
Or if you want to have different layouts for different items, you can edit each portfolio item with Elementor.

Thank you. In the mean time I have created an archive page which I use for portfolio at the moment.
I may later on split it up in videos, photo galleries and info about projects and put those on different pages.
